When you use a jammer, a lower power radio signal is broadcast. The signal is capable of cutting off communication between a phone and its cellular base station. When this happens, all phones in the affected area will display “No Service” – incoming calls will be blocked. To the caller, the phone appears to be switched off.

Once the jammer is turned off, the phone will automatically re-establish communication with the cell tower – and users affected by the jammer will once again be able to receive cellular-based services.

It should be noted that using a jammer will not damage the phone in any way. It should also be noted that the same applies to any GPS jammer.
