Abstract: With the widespread application of Global Positioning System (GPS), its application in environmental protection and resource management has attracted more and more attention. This paper studies the application of GPS jammers in environmental protection and resource management, discusses its role in environmental protection and resource management, and puts forward relevant suggestions.
A GPS jammer is a device that captures and jams signals from the Global Positioning System. Its main principle is to interfere or prevent GPS positioning equipment from receiving satellite signals by transmitting jamming signals, so as to achieve the purpose of hiding or modifying location information. While GPS jammers can be misused in certain circumstances, their legitimate use in environmental protection and resource management can also have positive effects.
2. Research on the application of GPS jammers in environmental monitoring
